[edit] Welcome to the IFFA Wiki

IFFA Wiki is hosted by the Indigenous Flora and Fauna Association, based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

We are moving the WIKI to the main website as a more tightly controlled set of species pages, that any registered user could edit still, but with some drop down lists etc. See the example page created by Campbell. Comments are welcome on the example page. Transferred species descriptions appear under the Flora or Fauna menus on the Main Menu on IFFA's main website at http://www.iffa.org.au.

Projects the IFFA community are currently are working on include:

• Indigenous Plants Directory

• Indigenous Animals Directory

• Bioregions

• Ecological Vegetation Classes

Pages in IFFA Wiki are able to be edited by everyone (you just have to register and log in). Content must be consistent with site policy Note that if you have registered for the main IFFA website you need to register again, separately for the IFFA Wiki site.

The Editing help page on IFFA Wiki, or the more detailed help on editing pages using MediaWiki page might answer some of your questions about what a wiki is and how to use it. The Wiki software used on this site is MediaWiki.

Also, feel free to play around in the SandBox if you want some practice editing.
